I'm guessing this month's theme is "straight outta the camera" or something similar... The first one doesn't do much for me personally. I see a good shot at framing, but otherwise, not my bag. The second image is a wonder of lighting, reflections, and colour. What we have is a scene dominated by various shades of green (mostly seeming to have a yellowish tint to it, but no postwork allowed, right?), with a reddish/brown misture being the green's background of sorts, appearing in the background and on the insect itself. 2 small areas with the same shade of blue, one small area to the left with a dash of yellow. Colours are beautiful, as is the creature. Oh yeah, hiya guys, those who remembah me. ry

I have to admit it...the spider looks cute...don't know how you did it, but you have. And you know I adore dragons...both are fantastic!

Beautiful photos. It's true : the spider looks like a toy (a teddy spider ? BUT I wouldn't like to have it in my bed)
