Interesting image, Nilla. Can't say I've ever seen anything like it. Thanks for letting us know what it is - keeps me from having to root around for further information (wow- that was a HORRIBLE pun on my part!)

Orchids are strange wonders of nature, while some plants thrive in the tropical moist climate of a greenhouse, other plants do best when it is very cold. Some like light, while others like it very dark. If you are considering purchasing an orchid I would highly recommend going to someone that raises and sells them, as opposed to a big chain store that usually can't provide you with the information that is necessary to keep your plant alive, and most of them couldn't tell an Orchid from a Lilly. Another little tidbit I am sure that some of you didn't know. Oh yeah BTW, check out the link I am leaving here, this is one of the houses that I visit, she also deals in Water Lillies and does mail order. Brenda :)
