Greetings, I've been part of Rendreosity family for a few years, but I am found in the Rhino forum most of the time. I was talking with a friend of mine last night, and we thought it would be a fun idea to create a website where the visitors could direct the story. I'm sure it's been done, it just doesn't strike me as a very original idea, but I didn't find any while searching. I was thinking along the lines of a chapter of a story, and at the end of the chapter, list a couple options. I post it as a user poll so the readers can choose what happens next. Same author then takes the users poll and writes the next chapter, again ending in a couple options. I was thinking a week between chapters. Not looking for the next great novel, but just fun. The more people writing, the more options/catagories people can read. Sci-Fi, Westerns, Murder Mysteries, Etc. The questions to you folks are: Would anyone be interested in writing a chapter once a week? Is this already being done somewhere else? Is this just a bad idea and I should stop now? Again, I'm not thinking of a massive major site, just a "family and friends" kind of feel. But it's one of those sites that could catch on, who knows. It just sounded like a fun project to put together. Please give me some honest feed back. I can have it up and running within a week or two if people would enjoy it. I live by my rule, "If it's not fun, don't do it." :) Thanks for your time, ~ Rich
