For those like me who don't like the wind atmosphere, here is a way to make a decent cloudy sky . Note that this technique has its limits, especially concerning lightning effects . The shader on the left is on a big sphere ( 5000 x 5000 x 2000 ) and light through transparency is turned on . I guess this technique is used by some of you, in Carrara or in other apps, so if anyone knows how to improve it, please reply to this post, i need your advices ! ( how to put a smooth haze on the horizon for example, or a glowing sun, how to avoid the white dots that appear sometimes ...) litst
