What are the optimium settings for my system, for use with Poser5? I am thinking more along the lines of virtual memory adjustment etc, or should I just let windows manage everything? My current set up is as follows: A.M.D 2GHz DDR MOTHERBOARD Graphics= nvidia ge force4 128 meg TI4600 sound= SB Live 5.1 RAM= 1024MEG DDR H/DRIVE= 1x40GIG & 1x120gig ENVIRONMENT= WINDOWS XP HOME ADDITION PERIPHERALS= WACOM PEN TABLET, LOGITECH CORDLESS MOUSE. DRIVES= ATAPI CDRW & DVD ROM. ViRtual Memory = system managed "min ALLOWED 2MB, Currently allocated 1535MB Visual Effect = "adjust for best performance" Processor scheduling = "Adjust for best performance of: PROGRAMS" Memory Usage = "Adjust for best performance of: PROGRAMS" Available Physical Memory at rest = 76000 approx.

I have had Poser 5 for quite a while now and, in my experience, I have found that it makes no difference what settings you make to Windows memory, Poser 5 doen not take advantage of it. The rendering time lag is cause by the fact that poser 5 will not use your graphic cards 3d acceleration. Maybe one day.
