I ve been having a great time with poser, and charecter animation, but I had a question once exporting the animations ive made, when i use the make movie option. The animation once played in media player seems jerky, frames seem to be missing, or it is smooth at parts then jerks. Its probaly a key framing issue, but ive cranked the resolution, quality etc to max, but it still seems to be jerky once rendered. What coudl cause this? Iam on a p3 800 with 256 ram, with a tnt 2 32 meg video card, running on windows 98

Maybe it's the compression codec you chose, try another one.

I get the same results with Windows new Media Player. I had high hopes for it, after reading their 'hype' about it's ability to create sound files 1/2 the size of MP3's, etc. I just put in a new CD and the sound from the Media Player is atrocious! I opened the music with my Gizmos CD player and the difference is amazing. (www.play.com) Try opening your movie with the player that comes with RADGAMETOOLS ( http://radgametools.com ) You can then make it a binked file at about 1/10th it's size... and then convert that to an .exe if you like The problem is probably not in your animation.

I can help you.The problem IS Microsoft Video(it automatically comes up when Poser4 opens the window to choose what video you want) .I wrote Curious 3 times! To ask them what to do and their tech gave me rude and flip answers.SO,I figured it out myself. When the window for make movie comes up in Poser, check either CinepakCodec by Radius or Indeo Vid 5.0.I think the Indeo works EXCELLENT.I set the compression to 100.The picture is clear and non pixely in my avis.
