This is the Sixus Gryphon. I have had this image started for some time and wanted to finish it.... I just need some crits from you guys, needless to say I always appreciate them very much. The idea I am working for is the perspective of a person walking through the woods who unexpectedly stumbles upon a Gryphon. The Gryphon doesn't see this person yet.... but is alert to an unfamiliar presence. The blades of grass are a 3DS model I picked up from somewhere on the web a couple of years ago or so... All else is done in Bryce. The textures are all by me.... save for those on the gryphon. Thank you in advance. Wade

Incredible representation of the musculature!

Cool! The only thing I'd do is to maybe add some bushes in the foreground. If the premise is someone has stumbled on the Griffin but hasn't been spotted yet, I wonder why because of all the openness between said person and Griffon. Maybe have it like some bushes have kept that from happening? Regardless, this is incredible the way it is! :o)

Aye, something to break up the grass a bit would be wonderful. Perhaps some flowers?

Thanks for the feedback... 8) I started a premium render at about 5:30 this morning before I went to work and there are still about 15 hours to go... I am not sure if it will be final or not.... may end up doing some more work to it. But I sure do appreciate your input. There is no question to that. Your suggestions are good suggestions and will be implemented into a further work of this piece. 8) Wade
