Last year or year before I seem to remember someone (one of our wonderful Japanese friends IIRC) making available a terrific roof top prop with a cityscape in the background. I could've sworn I had it but now I can't find it. I think it was a freebie. Anyone happen to remember this or know where to find it? Thanks!

Dystopia is (was?) a freebie here - obj formatted city blocks 3DModelz used to have a free city block prop to go with their urban products. Maybe look for Andi3d, 3dlands, or the Slinger. I'm not familiar with a free city item from a Japanese artist. If you remember could you tell us :D The are a lot of great cityscape items for sale around here and other places.

I have a vague memory of that rooftop, and I think it might have been by Baument.com. They have plenty of that sort of thing anyway.

Perhaps this one in FreeStuff by 3DRumble.
odeathoflife also did a really nice commercial building rooftop with stairwell.
