Hi everyone,
Does anyone run Vue 4 on an Athlon 64 bit PC? I'm about to upgrade my PC & am thinking about going for a 64 bit processor & was wondering if anyone knows of any issues with Vue (or anything else for that matter) with the new processors. It's not that I've heard/read anything bad at all, I just thought I'd ask before spending my cash :0)
Thanks.

Sounds like a good idea for many other reasons and I think vue will be as stable as it is on 32 bit cpu. So do you use P5 with Vue?

in my opinion vue and a64 works like a charm, just as the regular 32bit win xp pro, fast and reliable, the only "boring" thing is of course that i doubt eon will release a 64 bit version, although im of course hoping that they will :) anyway, its a great buy.

Ditto that; the extra speed you get from the memory controller being on the chip itself can speed things up a little bit, and the 32 bit mode is just like an Athlon's. E-on won't recompile until XP-64 is out, but if reports on the ease of recompiling hold accurate, then they could easily do it in 2-4 days with a single programmer. Rewriting it to -be- a native 64 bit app would take longer, but recompiling to allow for the 64 mit memory calls, and to run natively in XP-64 is supposed to be a lot easier.
