I'm an absolutely newbie on Carrara and, well, I have a question: How could I shade a group of objects I selected? for example, I placed 20 spheres around and when I grouped them (CTRL+G), I tried to assign one shader to the whole group. But I can't. why?

Actually, the best way to do it is place one sphere, shade it and then duplicate it. Then if you want to change all the spheres you can simply change the master shader and the rest of the shperes will follow suit. Mark

thank you a lot! I wondered what is that tool for(btw, 'Eye Dropper' is the exact name')... I even searched all the help files for the string "eye dropper" and how many times do you think I found it? Zero times. So, 10x for the help. Appreciate it. greetz! :-)
