I am doing a render that requires me to have my camera z-trans at ~1000 Poser Units. When I render, I only render the nearer sections of my scene. If I set z-trans to say 955 Poser units, I render a little more. Wierd.

Interesting. I'd never gone beyond about 30 PU in real usage. Tried the experiment just now in P4; cranked up a Ball to scale=30000 then pulled the camera out to 1000 PU. Didn't find any hard "boundaries". Changing the camera from 900 to 1000 caused the same shrinkage as 1000 to 1100.

Ockham, if you are willing to try something, perform the same experiment, BUT move the ball slightly -Z away from the 'center' of the Poser Studio (and away from the camera). I am in Poser 5 sr4.1 THanks for replying!

That little white thing seems to be the camera icon; the camera is somehow looking at itself! This didn't happen in P4.

Can you by any chance have clicked the Depth Cue? So that it obscures the view?

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
Using Poser since 2002. Currently at Version 11.1 - Win 10.

Thanks for all your help. I'll have to play with it some more to see what is going on. I am pretty sure I don't have depth of field or volumetrics turned on. If I can come up with more or better info, I will post it here.
