Anyone know the best method for creating a bump map for a Dinosaur model I just finished? I would like to have it as realistic as possible...(wrinkles and such)...What would be the best method to achieve this. Or is it basicly just drawing them all by hand? THanks!

Hey filmguy, don't know about others, but i'm a control freak so i'd do the "by-hand" method. Though if you find some good examples of the type of skin/texture you looking for, we could run through making a bump map with you.

for a dino bump map, I'd use some of the texture filters. not sure which, but there are some useful ones unde stylize.
