Hello, Due to heavy work load, I haven't been hanging around the forum for more than a few minutes. I got an email from Curious Labs about a patch for Mac but when I went to the page, I saw an updater for Windows that I was sure that I had gotten about three or four months back. The windows updater says that it makes your Poser5 to be 5.04.325 but when I checked my Poser 5 it was 5.04.321. When I read the file, it seems to be the same thing that I installed when it first came out (It was probably longer than three months ago) I remember the update because it caused problems with changing the background color. Don't want to go thru all that again if I don't need the update. Thanks, Bill

Yes, you've missed one. The current version of Poser 5 is indeed 5.0.4.325. CL released another update (SR4.1) shortly afterward to correct a problem with shadow maps that appeared in SR4. Y'know, patch two bugs, break something new ....

Thanks for the info. Now I will have to scan the forum to see how to fix the background thing again unless they fixed it on the new updater. Bill

The background fix thing is actually described IN the SR4 -- it is in the readme info, and clear instructions are provided.
