2nd try ;-) - has anyone seen a stable model, with a traditional stable door, the type that the top half opens and the horse can look out over?. TIA.

I believe SAMS 3D carries a classic stable in that style; comes with a hayloft and corral, also.

Yes, I know I've seen one here somewhere. But I have to get back to you on that because it is very late here. Tomorrow, I'll take a look in my files.

Little_Dragon and Tiny thanks both - I will hang on see what Tiny comes up with before dashing off ;-)

Hmmm....Little_Dragon - Just thought I should say -I cannot actually find anything like a traditional stable over at SAMS3D. Found a barn with hayloft in the Architecture section - but it has sliding doors, and I found a stall in the section Horse Stuff, but that also has sliding doors only. I checked the Freebie archive page too, but could not spot one in there.

I apologise ... I was under the impression the stable stalls had swinging doors. My mistake.

Someone posted one earlier today, but said it wouldn't be available for freestuff until after his project was complete. It was in Cinema format. Maybe try back again later? Or try Ironbear's various houses in the marketplace. I think his smithy has a double-swing door like you're looking for.

The stable from Sams3D had opening doors when I purchased. I think they have since reworked it with higher resolution textures and sliding doors...see link above. You might send Sharen an email or IM and ask her about it.Niles posted Fri, 14 May 2004 at 6:36 PM
Try http://www.3dcommune.com, search for stable in free stuff and you will find one by Zippy, it is a 2 horse stable. It is a great Free prop. If you do not like the stone texture, you could texture it.

Also try the link above. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to get to the "S" section and there might be a stable (if not a barn) available here.Marque posted Fri, 14 May 2004 at 8:12 PM
They have a great stable at Sams3d. I don't see it there and I don't know why it's not on the main page. You might want to email them and ask about it. I own both the barn and the stable and they are excellent models. The stable has sliding doors for the stalls, everything you could want. Marque

There's one here in freestuff by Zippy, called "George's Poser Stable and Tack Room".

[but it has sliding doors, and I found a stall in the section Horse Stuff, but that also has sliding doors only] If the doors move at all, it means that they are a separate group. Al you need to do is use the Joint Editor to place the center and end point at the edge you hinged and use the appropriate rotation = swinging door.

Tiny...thank you. I had lost my bookmark for george279's site and have beat my brains forever trying to remember where those great props were.

Tiny - Thank you for the link to George279's site, I have downloaded his stable, and that is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks too, to everyone who made suggestions, I really appreciate the help.
