A few days ago, I read in this forum an interesting tip to avoid body parts to poke trough Dynamic Clothes. The main idea was to scale down the figure at frame one, then rescale it to 100% at final frame. I think it may be the way to make any cloth fit almost any figure. I finally tried this method BUT (and I hope someone will be able to help me) when I scale down my figure to any percentage, the cloth ALSO scales down, and its scale dial stays at 100%. Anybody knows why ? Maybe I have to "unparent" cloth from body ? But how ? I had a look in the hierarchy window, but I have no clue how to do it. I hope my English is good enough to be understood. Thanks in advance. (Long Sleeve Tunic from SVDL.Thanks to him for his fantastic clothes).

To unparent the cloth, you parent it to the universe.

Yes the method is correct, Poser 5 can be very flexible. To unparent the clothing select it and go to Object/Properties. Select the parent option and parent to the Universe, or make no selection. This will remove its dependances on the figure. If you want to reposition the figure in the scene after the simulation is completed just reparent the clothing to it again.

Many, many thanks to you. I would never have had the idea to parent to universe. Another great tip. Thanks a lot !
