wow, that's V3? very different and pretty! excellent stuff from the both of you. :)

Okay, I'm beyond flabbergasted; I'm flaggerbastard!

No offense to the artists at DAZ, but they missed the boat with their P-Club V3 Anime Doll set (I think it was the chin shape). But, Ladies, you snagged the brass ring with this one!

I haven't bought anything specifically for V3 in some time, but I will definitely grab this package!

Sincerely,

Bill

This is a stunning and versatile set. I had the privelege of doing some of the testing. It is filled with awesome poses, cool character makeup. The body and character are terrific. All of the Daz clothing morphs work flawlessly. The character rocks. cheerio lululee

WOW! i love the face!! will be waiting for this one :D

pendarian posted Wed, 19 May 2004 at 10:58 AM

I think one of the most versatile things about this set is, that even though the full blown manga/video style character is quite remarkable, the faces that can be made in between that 1.000 dial will serve us well no matter what genre we do in our art :) Pendy

cwshorty posted Wed, 19 May 2004 at 4:44 PM

You've both done a damn fine job here...WOW!

Crescent posted Wed, 19 May 2004 at 7:15 PM

And the M3 version is coming out soon, I hope?!?

Momcat posted Wed, 19 May 2004 at 7:51 PM

Maybe a V3 male add on?

Crescent posted Wed, 19 May 2004 at 8:17 PM

True. On V3 Male, the face could work for many of the bishonen types. I definitely see a lot of possibilities with this! (As the anime maniac drools not-so-quietly on the keyboard ...)

Gareee posted Wed, 19 May 2004 at 9:31 PM

Very cool.. maybe a reason to actually use Vicky now? ;) Wonder if the new millenium dynamic deformers would work on her as well?

Momcat posted Wed, 19 May 2004 at 9:48 PM

Yes Garee, they work rather nicely. Sarah Spriteling looks really nice on her as well. I'll post some pics tomorrow.

As promised:

Momiji using Wyrmmaster's Millenium Dynamic Deformer Kit.
This is the bonus face "Ren". I needed to do a little postwork on the neck, but the rest is just color lighting and slight blur.

I just realized I used two different shirt textures >^_^<;;

I can hear this corn fed country gal saying, "Howdy! My name's Annie Mae, the anime hillbilly!" Er, I think I'll duck for cover. Sincerely, Bill

Momcat posted Thu, 20 May 2004 at 12:20 PM

Just in case you thought those deformer kits were only good for making large breasts...

HalfEsperLaura posted Thu, 20 May 2004 at 3:38 PM

I've seen so many "anime" look figures that missed the mark ::coughaiko::, your previews were a wonderful shock. Momiji looks great; she'll definitely go on my wishlist. ^_~ I'm also fascinated by the possibilities of those intermediate levels for the more realistically-done "small-eyed" supporting characters in anime scenes.

Walt Sterdan posted Mon, 24 May 2004 at 1:22 PM

How long before the male version?

Momcat posted Mon, 24 May 2004 at 1:31 PM

That all depends on how well Momiji does. I've got him started, but
I have other projects to prioritize as well. If there is a good
response, then he'll move up on the list. >^_^

HalfEsperLaura posted Mon, 24 May 2004 at 3:54 PM

Question: maybe you've said and I've just been missing it, but are V3's body and head morph packs required to use Momiji? Thanks!

Momcat posted Mon, 24 May 2004 at 4:03 PM

They are only required for the expressions because there are some unconventional morphs used in them, but you don't absolutely need them. Momiji is a fully original custom morph character. You can use the expressions without the head morph pack, but if ou try to inject the M_Xpress INJ you might get a hang in Poser since it will be looking for morph channels that aren't there. If you just inject the expressions that come with the V3 Base, and use the facial expression files; you'll get an error message, but you'll get most of the expression settings. They'll just look a little different because they won't have the oher morphs.

"How long before the male version? That all depends on how well Momiji does. I've got him started, but I have other projects to prioritize as well. If there is a good response, then he'll move up on the list. >^_^<" Hi; sorry to be nag, but any update on the male version? -- Walt

BastBlack posted Thu, 22 July 2004 at 6:54 PM

Me too. ---> nag nag nag I would snap up an M3 version in a heartbeat. :D bB

Momcat posted Thu, 22 July 2004 at 7:19 PM

Ok, ok, ok; I give! Uncle! I'll see what I can come up with.

^~ ::puts Mamoru and Co. at the top of the list:: Which is
preferable?: 1)A complete standalone version of with all the
trimmings like the Momiji package. This would take a while
(months) and be similarly priced, for M3 or David. I could not
guarantee the same style because it would be a whole new morph, but
it would be similar. Or 2)"Lite" add-on versions that require the
Momiji package be installed. This would take less time, and I can
probably come up with V3 male, SP3, M3, and David versions at
either $6 each, no textures, no extras, or as a bundled package of
all Millennium Gen 3 character versions(that's V3M, SP3, M3, and
David), no textures, no extras (not promised anyway. I may get
carried away and pop in some extras if I have a burst of
inspiration)for around $18 These could be guaranteed to have the
same style since they would use the original Momiji morph as a
base. I can probably have a set like this made up in a couple of
weeks. Casey >^

Crescent posted Thu, 22 July 2004 at 7:30 PM

Why not do #2 first since it would only take a few weeks, then see how many people want a full, stand-alone version as well? (Personally, I'd like a David version first, but I'd take the full bundled version with M3 as well if that was what was available.) Thanks!

Momcat posted Thu, 22 July 2004 at 7:45 PM

I think that's the best idea as well. I'd release each version individually and also as a bundle.

Walt Sterdan posted Thu, 22 July 2004 at 8:15 PM
