I think she's done, do you?

Uh, no....upturn the nose a bit, smooth out under the chin, eyes a bit rounder/wider, move the maxilla back a abit....I'm sorry Darth...but this is not near finished...compare to Hellborn's Betty Page model.... Scarab <-sorry...

Yes Darth, Scarab is right. You should take a look at the color pix I sent. Check the hips too. Need to be more Raquel Welch, as in a real figure-eight hip. The thighs are there but not the upper hips. The breasts and top shoulders look good. Face-wise too you need to capture her unique wide-smile and that special naughty look in her eyes- it was a pose she really mastered and struck it repeatedly for photographers. But take all this constructively, as I know you really spent a lot of time on Marilyn, and she came out great. I know you are up to the Bettie Page challenge as well.

I don't know Fox, I'm getting frustrated. I'm beginning to think that even Vicky is incapable of the features described here. If I do anything else to her, it'll have to be starting from scratch, seriously. Marilyn isn't perfect either, the magic on her happens in Photoshop. The problem with Bettie is that in all of her source pics, she's smiling, mugging, whatever. I need a pic where she's just having neutral face and dead on, and a profile pic of same and where the contrast is not washed out. -Darth

Darth: hmm well if you don't mind some comments. These are based on some of the pictures posted above. Her cheeks are very full, and even not smiling they would be. As is her brow above the eye and to the sides. need to widen and round those areas more. Also she had next to no eyelid due to the heavy roundness of her brow. The crease between the nose and mouth would be noticable smiling or not because of the cheeks. I think the chin is bit too far back and a bit too small. I think the upper lip is a bit too thick. Actually the eye on yours need to move up. the distance from the tip of the nose to the corner of the eye is greater than you have. and the eyebrows need to move closer to the eye. I think that will get you closer.

Check out version 1,344,292 in the gallery for today's from scratch attempt. And folks, please I'm not interested in the body until I get the face right. -Darth_Logice

The face is, really, everything with Betty....her body was really not that unique, even by the standards of her day. But that face...that smile....I fell in love with her when I was 12...... Some of your problem is the eyes...they are too far apart and I certainly agree with the chin comments. I really think Hellborn had a really good Betty Page face...you should check out his model for comparison..... Scarab <-Betty is still out there....she's 70 years old...a great grandmother and a converted small town Christian (gag) but I still love her.........

Working on her now, and Damnit, I think I got her this time (Fingers Crossed) I would love of someone discerning of Betty would jump on my icq so I can get instant feedback rather then keep posting failure! 23018967 if anyone can comply. TIA -Darth

Yeah, I think it's real hard to get the essence of Betty. Especially that mischiefous smile and sparkling eye. There are a few rare people whom excude a certain sexy innocence. Oh yeah, about 2 years ago I was at a dance club watching a Bettie Page lookalike contest. My neck got tired. Betties to the left of me! Betties to the right of me! Betties all around me! Wheeeeee! :-)
