Hi, just joined up here and was hoping to make some contacts with folks in either Europe or the US who are poser fans, who could help me with getting my setup tweaked so I feel more comfortable with Poser. I tried both versions out, and have problems with Poser 5 working for me -- it tends to blow up constantly, because I think there are some memory or swap issues I am not aware of. Poser 4 works fine and allows me to do everything I want to, at least for a start. With regards to my goals for Poser, I am a professional photographer and have seen some awesome work done with regards to Poser and Bryce, including photos. I want to learn the products to create suggestions for images for my clients, so I can show them what their campaigns can look like, without hiring models at the start. Also to expand the small studio space into a virtual world would be awesome... The union of my photographic work and virtual digital graphics could be really the start of something big. However, I need some help with understanding where the files go, since alot of freebies tend to dump themselves just anywhere and I have no idea where to put them and if there is a relationship between a set of files and their textures or bump maps being elsewhere, I need to know their locations. Can anyone help me with this? I am sure its SOMEWHERE in the manual, I just haven't found it yet. Thanks alot, and I hope to meet some nice Poser fans out there!
