I have not yet purchased M3 or V3 Male figure. It seems there is a lot more expense with M3 head and body morphs, textures, new clothes etc. It it worth the additional expense?

It depends ... The expense is there solely because people want stuff. It makes it available. There is not as much for the V3 Male option but each costs about the same for the base. It only adds more if you want to dress them and the V3 Male doesn't have as much to dress them in.

One thing to consider is that there is a LOT more characters, clothing and acccessories for M3 than for the V3 Male. So it depends on how much variety you will need in the future.

I didn't purchase the V3 or M3 models yet, but was under the impression that if you wanted the "Freak" character, then M3 base model was required. If I'm right, you might want to keep that in mind as well.

You don't need to purchase M3 to get the Freak .. that was just to get him free when he was initially released

LanceB, Since you asked, here a little comparison.

Interesting physical differences. Would you be willing to post them plain, white without textures, and with the same "out of the box" dial settings? It seems strange, but the difference in skin & hair gives M2 an unfair advantage in my personal preference scale. When trying to take an objective view, I like M3's overall body scale (large hands and feet), but dislike the over-the-top round shoulders. V3 male looks okay, but I notice the hips are set higher than the other two. I remember there being discussions of trouble posing V3 male because the joints were set up for a woman... did that ever get altered? Thanks for the great display. I really like seeing them all in color, but M3 & V3 male both still look a little "off" to me. But after seeing M3, I finally am tempted to buy 'him'.

I didn't think they were all the same height ?? ...I always thought that V3 Male was considerably shorter .. is that correct ??

V3 Male scale is set to 101.

so Victor (V3 Male) isn't really that much shorter ?
