#1 gets my vote for picture quality and story-telling, but I'd also like to give a credit to the idea in #12. Well done altogether. I'll have to think about entering something in a future contest...

15 The rules say... "The picture should be about a bridge and what lies under it. Imported objects or characters are welcome as long as they don't attract attention away from the bridge. The secret here is "charators are welcome as long as they DON'T attract attention away from the bridge." While #1 is very good, the picture to me is more about the charactors than the bridge. Poser charactors are fine, but to me Vue is lamdscapes, seas, sunsets, that take a little time to construct and blend. #15 has blended water,sky and landscape very well an also constructe their own bridge. Lot of work. I go with #15.

anyone can vote right? :)
as to Xiores comment.. (not trying to start a fight or anything here so take no offense please.. just a diff or twist on your view of the image..)
umm I don't feel that the figure is taking away from the bridge at all.. it's showing "what happens under the bridge"
the bridge is in full view.. taking up a good part of the canvas.. it's just showing what the rules state in the very first sentence ..right...
the title is.. "under the bridge".. not "the bridge"
so I guess it's just how you look at things...
Again not trying to start anything here... just a diff point of view :)

why does one pic say done by gebe. I thought this was an anonymous contest?
jwhitham posted Tue, 01 June 2004 at 6:56 PM
bonnyclump;
none of the images has the caption "done by Gebe" though one does include the words "Fisherman by gebe" John
