This is driving me insane! I have just built a new system and installed both PS 5.5 and Illustrator 8.0 on it. Now when I place my cursor over the active working area in both programs the cursor disappears! I cannot tell where I am working. I can work in the area but there is no cursor to be seen, it is there but not visible. I cannot tell what I am grabbing ! Help ? Help ? Any ideas as to what is going on? Sometimes it happens on my browser as well!

Maybe a system problem. Memory sounds like. I am on a iMac with a 233mhz/ 160 real/240virtual ram.
