It will be my birthday on June 11 and I thought that Ferguson had an awesome idea to hold a contest! So I am going to, too. I'm going to offer the same prize, $25 US (I'm Canadian so to me it's worth even more lol) and the picture will be due on Friday June 11 at midnight Renderosity Time (as soon as I figure out what Renderosity Time is). Judging will take place between June 11 and June 18, 2004.
The theme? Well I loved Ferguson's fantasy idea, so I will stay with that and go with "Fantasy Women: The Magic-Users" That's right folks, now it's time to lay down the swords and axes and pull out your magic-missile bearin' babes! :D Mage, witch, sorceress, druid, bard, what-have-you, just portray them using any spell or form of magic.
Software: Poser and any other imaging software that you see fit. Postwork accepted and encouraged, however much or little you like to use.
The picture must comply with the Renderosity TOS and please one image per person.
Please title the image "MistDragon's Fantasy Contest" when you post it to your gallery, that is how I will be able to find the image!
Please note: I will be paying the winner by PayPal and it will take 1-2 weeks (probably around the first of July) for the monies to be received. Sorry for the inconvenience!
P.S. Please don't get mad at me for 'stealing' your idea Ferguson, I just thought it was so cool I had to try it myself. Mimicry is the best form of flattery right? LOL :D

This sounds fun, I'll be on it right away. One question. I'm using Poser/Lightwave/Photoshop, is that alright?
SpiceBunny posted Tue, 01 June 2004 at 8:51 AM
sounds interesting :) i know i should join in. i think i might. looks clueless now how to do anything
MistDragon posted Tue, 01 June 2004 at 10:49 AM
Lupus I think your combination should be fine, so long as Poser is used to do 'something' in the picture.

Great idea but since my Bday is on the 11th also does that make me the automatic winner even if I don't enter? I think it should...well maybe not;) I'm looking forward to seeing the entries

Mistdragon, Renderosity is in Central time so you can figure out local time difference from there :-)
Why shouldn't speech be free? Very little of it is worth anything.
