After all, the Poser forum is under P for Poser, not C for Curious Labs; the Rhino forum is under R for Rhino, not M for McNeel, and so on. I would expect to find the Photoshop forum under P.

I think the reasons are pretty clear...they are (not in order of importance).... 1)PaintShopPro is listed under JASC,and we can't be outdone by that little want-to-be. 2)Adobe paid alot of money for the advertising. 3)Not to confuse people with that "other" Photoshop. 4)Starting the name with the letter "A" puts it at the top of the drop down list...which makes it much easier for retrocity to find this place.

It's also nice to point out that Adobe are the biggest applications producer in the world after that cocky little upstart by that Bill Gates bloke. ;o)

For me, I don't care if the program is produced by Adobe or Zygote, the name of it is "Photoshop". I hate this vanity whereby Microsoft want everyone to refer to a "Microsoft Word document" rather than a "Word document" (which is the way normal people actually speak). Let Adobe (and Microsoft)do their own marketing!
