Well, I've never started my own thread before, but here goes!
I'm seeing a couple of issues occur with in Poser with V3:
1: I'm trying to apply a character morph, which I just bought yesterday (Harley for V3). The morph not only changes her body shape but her body height (scale). However, when I apply it, all I get is a rather short overweight V3, not the body shape promised by the previews for the product. I know something is happening, but I don't know what. I've deleted my old V3 geometry RSR, and also installed and reinstalled all the updates. I'm using WinXP, Poser 4.03, and have 768MB RAM, 3GHZ Celeron, 160GB HDD.
2: When I change the view from textured to shaded wireframe, I see dark black outlines for the wireframe everywhere but at V3's hip and buttock/upper thigh zones (see screenshot). In those zones I see only light gray lines instead of black. Don't know if this is related to #1 above or what. Does everybody's V3 look like this?
I think the first thing I'll do this evening is completely uninstall V3 once more and then reinstall it with the updates. Then I'll try the character morph again. Does anyone have any other suggestions?
Thanks in advance for any help you can give!
Jack

First off, make sure you have installed all updates for V3. Does the character require the Head/Body morphs for V3 to be installed and loaded into V3? Hmm... I am reading the Readme for Harley... Did you Inject the Harley Morphs before applying the scaling Pose (Petite)? The shading thing is normal. It has something to do with her built in Panty-Hose or something. At any rate, normal.

Wow, Doc, thanks - that covers my perceived 'problem' with the display mode. I'm still working on getting the character morph to work correctly - I may have to go back to a blank slate and reinstall poser and everything else. Deleting and reinstalling V3 and the update is just not helping. Thanks again for the info, Doc!! Jack

Did you re-read the readme? I have often found that I miss something important the first time, and I can usually go back and find the answer there. If you are still having troubles and have tried everything else, you should contact the merchant for assistance
