Greetings! Just started using Cararra and tried modelling a pump. I traced the lathe envelope and cross sections from the dimensional drawings in Illustrator and imported them as Illustrator 5.5 files into Carrara. Both Illustrator and Carrara were set for centimeters. The cross sections came in at the right scale, but the curves for the envelopes weren't right. On a hunch, I multiplied by 2.54 (conversion inches to cm) and they were bang on...well, give or take round off errors. Anyone else seen this? A feature? One shot deal, or something I have to remember? Thanks, Thomas Stump
