Attached Link: Metaball Movie.

Metaballs. Gotta love them, although never really sure what to do with them. I'm not EngleWolf, so mostly end up with blobs.

Awesome animation. Very smooth, and the reflections and stuff look great.

Now that I can actually view these (in contrast to them just blowing up) I feel so... included.

This one seemed a lot cleaner and less pixilated then the chess one - I know the wmv version of chess was kind of an afterthought - was this done at a better quality or do metaball's edges just react better?

Ya know, Ive always wanted to direct ;)

Here's a concept - Start with your pan and wide shot. Tighten up so that youve just got the table top. On the table top is a meatball puddle. Tilt the table, sphere, or camera so that the table appears to tilt. Pour the meatball puddle off the table. Fade to black & roll credits. (Rolling credits is just vertically escallating a 2DP - and it adds sooooo much.) Itll be fierce!
