Can't seem to install Bryce 4. have the serial number, but the installation software says it's invalid. I've tried every consievable twist and turn. Uppercase, lowercase. dashes, no dashes ... changing zeros to ohs. and various combinations of the above. I've already e-mailed Corel. I'm just so confused. I'm very computer literate ... I've been a tech ... this is baffling me. Any ideas here? Thanx in advance. Boni

I've had friends who have had this problem. It seemed that they had previous versions still on their machines , demos included. Residual registry entries created problems too. Or that serial number was used to install this before using different user info. That's all I can think of. Hope you have some luck.

Thanks. I do have Bryce 3d on my machine, but it's an NFR, unregistered version. I don't know if that makes a difference. I've been told elsewhere that it shouldn't. I didn't want to move all the textures out before I installed the new version. Thanks Quik51. I'll remove the old version and see if that helps. Boni
