I'm trying to cut down on how much I spend on Poser and have finally come to the conclusion that I'd rather use the character that has the clothing I want to use rather than buy the same (or similar clothes) for new characters. I'm only doing 1-shot images, so I don't have to use the same character over and over again (which would push a user to buying clothing that specifically fits that model). Right now, I have more to work with Victoria 1/2 than with V3 or Stephanie 1/3, so that's my model of choice for most images. There's enough versatility in any of the models that it doesn't require duplicating expenses on each figure to have the same clothing unless somebody's got very deep pockets.

With The Tailor software, a tutorial and some time and patience, you can convert most V1/V2 clothing to fit V3. I keep hoping for someone to make a mannekin to convert V1/V2 and/or V3 clothing to fit S3. Stephanie 1 wears V1/V2 clothing.

Most times I choose the character depending the clothes I own and the concept I have in my mind...And most times I use free stuff those usually cover my needs... Also don't be afraid to make your own textures for your existent clothes, trans maps can make mirracles! There is nothing more unique then your own creations! It's so boring viewing the same cloth item in the galleries on it's default textures again and again!People don't even change the colors! pitklad
