Dont know if youve seen this one, but its great, and easy. Just made this planet using two concrete textures.

it rings a bell in the foggy recesses of my mind. Anyway, it's a fantastic tutorial and works really well. My effort wasn't as good as yours (there's a surprise) so I won't be posting it.

Cool! Just tested it. You must have PS 7 or above to be able to play around with the layer settings in that way.
