Been a while since I last posted ... I think I'm going through withdrawl. Been processing shots from my last studio shoot. Some of my best stuff ... too bad the model didn't want her photos on the internet (I understand and agree with her choice, else I wouldn't have photographed her, but they really are pretty good). Anyway, I was screwing around again today with different b&w conversions when this happened. I didn't pay attention but my top layer (background layer was still in color) was set to Lighten (I believe) when I did a B&W conversion on it. It's weird how it changed the overall color of everything to a sort of tinted monochrome with the exception of her top (it muted the blue a bit) and her the color of her eyes, which was untouched. Kind of a weird reaction I didn't expect and just thought it had a strange look to it. What can you do with it? I dunno ... depends on how repeatable it is. :) Ah well...gotta run.
