I've made a model, in Anim8or, of the 1851 Colt Navy revolver. Got the mesh split up so that it renders OK in Poser, but I despair of getting to grips with UVMapper, or making it into a Poser figure.

Attached link is to a download of the .obj file (zipped), for anyone who feels like texturing and scaling it for themselves.

I've no problem with the model being redistributed providing it's for free, and authorship of the original mesh is not claimed.

Thanks - it looks great - could you do us all a favor and put a readme text file in the zip that contains the information you would like on how to credit you and your web address or email addy if you wish that mentioned too? It should also mention your redistributable policy. Thanks

to be honest, you could get by just texturing the handle; most of the rest of it looks right (possibly the rivets might be a bit shinier..but I wouldn't worry)..looks like a good model.

I wish I'd said that.. The Staircase Wit
