ok im just having a grand ol time using the vertex modeler..*not sarcasm..lol...ive imported an .obj that im trying to modify and tweak a bit...the thing is all the points and lines seem to be slightly off..everything seems to be shifted..not sure if its anything ive done or not.. like when i go to click a point to delete it it doesnt register when im on the point i have to kind of search for when the lil icon changes to tell me its found the point... im using C3 with the latest upgrade..didnt know if anyone else had come across this or not...

Are you zoomed or dollied way in? I've seen it do this in that case. . .

yeah..thats about when it happens...or when i notice it...lol..trying to manipulat some of those pinots and lines is a real chore...oy...

Yeah, I saw this in the original release and sent a note to Eovia, the reply was that it would be corrected in SR1. Hasn't happened yet. The easiest way I've found around it is to use the director window to tuen the point(s) you want to work with TOWARD you. the closer the point you want to select is to being directly in front of you the easier it is to click directly on it. This is the single biggest problem I have with Carrara!! The shame is that this wasn't an issue in C1 or C2. It almost made me dump C3, but the other improvements won out. Well, maybe in the next SR or Ver. release... mike

Since it is an issue that goes away with un-zooming, I tend to just change the scale of my model while I'm working on it.
