Hi, yesterday Daniel and I got really frustrated. Suddenly there was no chance to open RayDream 5.02. No way! Hour glass was running for a second, then totally silence. No message! Nothing! First thought '.. got a virus...'. No! Second: RDD was corrupted. So we cleaned the regestry, installed RDD again, same error! Now we had a closer look at the RDD-folder. Nothing unusual, but there was a little tiny *.htm inside. We remember we had downloaded this file from the internet two days ago and copied this file by mistake into the raydream folder. After we had moved this file to the correct folder, RDD started again without any error. Yes, we are ready for changing now! After suffering a lot of timouts, broken lines and missing funcionality we hope Carrara got more efficient features. This is just a note for calming down ourselves and perhaps a hint for the next who is being traped in this matter. Regards Daniel + Matthias

If you liked RayDream, you'll love Carrara 3. The Interface is diferent and might take a little getting use to, but the new features and render in Carrarra 3 are well worth the cost. Keith

I hung on to RayDream for a long time, but am now happily in Carraraland. You may find that you have some trouble finding things you used to use in RD, but they are there in Carrara, just burried a bit in the new interface. If you have trouble finding things, post here; everyone is really cool about helping out to find stuff. - Dex
