Hi, I've been working on this image, I saved it out, told it to render, render box appears, then it locks, no render, can't close the box. So I restarted Poser, load the file back up, same story. Convert pz3 file to cr2, open from libraries, again, same story. I'm running 4.03, I've got 256Mb RAM, 156Mb of which is left when it finishes loading, I'm running RamBooster to free up spare memory which auto runs at <64Mb free. The only thing I haven't doen is restart windows and I'll do that next. Poser does this often on my system, any idea what's causing it? How to get around it, (how do I get rid of the box to try again?) later jb

You may try re-installing Poser and using the 4.0.2 updater.

Same thing happens, I upgraded from 4.02 to 4.03 hoping to get rid of the problem that way... later jb

is it just the one particulat pz3..???... or all of them.... or does it happen randomly, but not neccessarily to the same pz3..???.. the reason i am asking you that is... there could be a conflict with your particular video card or drivers. I have had and seen that problem in other puters, but some new updated drivers fixed the problem. that could be something to look into.

Import the .pz3 into a scene (yes, you can do that) and see what happens. -JH.

A reboot fixed it, but it happened again later, it happens randomly. It can be perfectly happy, then it stops working. I always seem to be coming out of "Render Materials" when it happens. But wise am I in the ways of the force, I save first, then render :) later jb

Stop your rambooster when rendering. This will help greatly.
