[![PunkHead.jpg](http://home.iprimus.com.au/punkclown/Graphics/PunkHead.jpg)](http://big.farty-pants.com)Hi all, long time no visit to the forum! I hope you are all well. I thought I would pop in and tell you about another way I found recently to convert colour to B&W in photoshop...(for those of you who haven't found/used this already) **D-MAX**: Apart from being a term to refer to the dynamic range of a given imaging device... (to record or display the full range of brightness, from absolute black darkness (0.0) to full white brightness (4.0). Dynamic range is given as two numbers, Dmax and Dmin) ...D-MAX is also a quite useful photoshop action to convert your colour images to B&W. Within the action set are 3 actions , plain, B&W, Sharpen and Soften B&W (self explanatory really) Of course after you apply the action you can still go in flatten the layers and tweak the image some more, such as duo, tri or quad-tone etc tec. I hope some of you find this action helpful. Cheers for now! Cam Message edited on: 06/19/2004 15:42
