Subject: Missing 'body' dial?

I am re-installing a LOT of stuff after formatting my PC, and I came across a renderosity free stuff item (I changed the name, SORRY - I had just started using poser!) that was one conforming figure (for Victoria) with transmaps - I called it 'Top&trousers#1'. The thing is, it conforms, but when I select 'body' there isn't anything in the Parameter dials!? The body parts all have Parameter dials (X,Y,Z, bend, twist, taper etc) but NOT the body. I wanted to transfer some morphs from the figure to the clothes with the tailor, but how can I make a full body morph if the clothing figure won't show the body?

Which item is it? I would like to download and help you as much as I can, but I'll have to do it step by step.

I don't know who made it, or what it was called (I changed the name when I saved it to my backup - I KNOW!), it was at least a few of years ago when Vickie first came out - mid 2000!

It's just a simple top and pants (skintight, no body or body parts morphs), conformed to Vic.

It works fine, just wondering what could cause a 'body' Dials parameter box to be empty!

I'll try resaving it, or take it into the setup room.

It's not a very original clothing item, just curious! I seriously doubt if the original is still there!

Hmm... Well, I've only recently been delving into the mysteries of what is actually contained in a CR2. I've probably learned just enough to get myself into trouble. But, maybe inside the CR2 (the actual text), the Body is set to hidden or 0 or whatever switch it is that make things hidden. I know that is how you can get the XYZ trans to not show up on bits like the Head and such. Hopefully, someone will come along that actually knows. I'm curious to find out the answer.

You could maybe show a picture of the clothes? Someone might recognize them and that could help in solving the mystery.

There could be a number of explanations. Open the attached file, copy the contents into Notepad, and save to a pose folder as "BODshow.pz2".

Apply the pose to your figure. If the rotate, translate, and scale, dials were hidden this should make them visible again. If the dials still don't show then the most likly explanations are that these channels do not exist, or that there is no actor named "BODY" in the file.
