The new bundle, I'm considering buying it because I recently went to reinstall Poser 5 and my CD is pooched. However, I paused when I saw the new bundle for only 399.00 of the new Mover, Poser 5 and Vue 4. My question, which I did search the forum for and could not data sift to, is rather or not Vue 4 now supports Poser 5 PZ3 imports (minus dynamic hair and dress). Or is this bundle basically a tease for Vue Professional? Thanks, Depa/Tom (Yeah an old name from the past I doubt many of you will recognize)

Vue 4 and Vue Pro both require Mover 5 to handle dynamics. Since I think that's a part of the bundle, you're all set. But remember, it still won't handle Poser 5 materials, just hair and clothe.

Thanks for the info. However, this leaves me curious (no pun) as to if it will still read 2d textures etc from the pz3 or if all the material information (not just shaders) is lost on import? Thanks, Tom

No, it brings in the regular Poser texture maps.

"No, it brings in the regular Poser texture maps." That's incorrect info though.... I've got P5 + Vue4 Esprit + Mover 5 and created an angel in P5 with uses a gold reflection shader. When importing the figure, V4 asks me to locate the gold reflection shader and for sure loads and renders it. It does the dynamic hair and conforming & dynamic clothes well too. They work very well together and I don't regret spending the money on getting it at all.

Due to the childish TOS changes, I'm not allowed to link to my other products outside of Rendo anymore :(
Food for thought.....
