Hi there,

just a short note, the boys at imancom.com try to lure people into sending photo's and money for restoration beyond belief! Just look at the examples!

At least half of the examples are fake (i.e. reversed, they just degraded the original image as a 'before' image, look here ) and even worse, they send out bulk spam mail to get clients.

A lot of us can do what they do (for less or for free it it is for someone in our family or friends) but the miracles they show can never be achieved.

If you read their terms you can not hold them responsible for anything, because they can always explain you was not clear enough. Ofcourse I did not try this 'service' but I hope everybody here will tell people who ask them that sending your photos to a vague online image manipulation shop is not a good idea at all. Especially if you have to pay in advance. I do not like people manipulating my image (as a photoshop professional myself). Spread the word!
