Another preview shot from the Summer Solstice Parade. One more day at work then it's my weekend and I can finally get into these. I think I'm really getting the hang of the 10D now. This shot is straight out of the camera. Image was just resized for web and slight sharpening applied. No cropping, exposure/white balance/color correction or anything else. Really impressed at how well the 10D captured this since she was spinning and dancing around. Did I mention I really love the 70-200mm f/2.8L IS lens? :) -=>Donald

How colorful! But careful of the pricklies. Very difficult lighting.

Come now guys ... no jealousy ... for it is just rented glass (although I am half way to saving up for my own). Here, have a piece of candy, you'll feel better. Nilla and Cyn - Is there actually a time that women aren't in "shopping mode"? hehehehe duck And Cyn, maybe if you asked really nicely she'd loan them to you. :) Interesting thing, my lady walked in look at the photo and said 4 words "Wow ... colors .... big boobies" hahahahaha Misha - It was a bit tricky. Really bright, clear day with sun behind the subjects and things were changing quick from left to right because of the backgrounds.
