I can get to the site but half the front page thumbnails are missing and the only thing I can get to from there is the blurb about Bryce. I deleted my cookies and emptied the web cache but to no avail.

Yes, I can't get into the secure part at all - so no store activities for me. Anybody got any cards? May as well while away the time until they fix it... :)

Not just you. They must be doing an update of their site.

Same here. All the Bryce users must have broke the site-LOL!

Funny you should say that about Bryce. I wasn't in the least interested until I saw the price they are offering it to PC members. And the plugin! I'll definitely buy it for that kinda deal.

Same problem here. No big deal tho, they will have it fixed by the time I get home from work.

The Bryce and Arcana sub-domains work, at least in part, but the secure and forum seem dead. Glad it wasn't just me.

What are they offering it to PC members for? Only saw the premium price and I'm curious. Marque

I think the conspiracy guys were right...Daz decided to stop making poser content and closed down the site. They are also going out and buying up 3d software which has a strong customer base and putting it on their hidden shelves so nobody can get it or use it anymore...and in this way they will close down the entire 3d community...just out of spite. Its true I read it on a board somewhere smirk

$41.97 for Bryce, $1.99 for the plugin.

I'm glad I wasnt the only one having problems with DAZ. I immediately jumped to the conclusion that yet again work had blocked another website without informing anybody as to why. Had another website do the same as DAZ. Maybe they're on the same circuit (route?)? dave

With no-one commenting I was starting to believe they had decided to firewall anyone they didn't like from the forums :( Glad to hear that's not the case . Hope they're back up soon and haven't lost everything. It must be the huge drain of all those copies of Bryce flying off the shelves. I'd worry about whether the national grid can cope with that many electrons commuting at this time of day :( Cheers, Cliff

feh, I'll stick with Poser 5 and Vue. I'm happy for the Brycers though that their painful import problems can end.

The Mac version is supposed to be out later this week. And if you buy Bryce, you get the plugin free.

But of course only if you use Daz Studio, not if you're using P4 or P5.............oh well. Liz

Yeah, I'm more inclined to spring for Mover myself, even though it's a lot pricier. You can import Poser 5 animations into Vue with it, including dynamic hair and cloth. And you don't need to use a program that's still in beta-testing as a go-between.
who3d posted Thu, 24 June 2004 at 10:07 AM
Anyone else remember how DAZ was championed because they wouldn't put users through the hell of paying for beta-test software? That was a while ago. Watching the go-between go up in the store brought a wry smile to my face :) Cheers, Cliff

Can someone tell me were to access this price? All I see is the preimiume sale price of $59.96.
Thanks

Those are the prices if you are a Platinum Club member. If you are not a Platinum Club member and you just buy Bryce 5 at $59.96, you will get the plug in BETA free at the minute. Shoshanna :-)

if you are a platinum club member, the platinum club discount isn't calculated until you stick it in your cart. then it will show up as $41.97, and the turbo plugin will show up in your account along with the bryce purchase, as it is free for a limited time with purchase of bryce.
also, the serial number will be at the bottom ofyour account page, and sent in an email after purchase as well.
