Now maybe some REAL integration with Poser figures will FINALLY be a reality! What I'd like to see is a Bryce-like camera system in Poser (or D|S, more likely). Wonder if they'll work on making figures pose-able in Bryce? That'd be sweet. Just thinking out loud... :)

Hope Bryce has a home for good. Hate to see this marvelous app treated like a vagabond.

Yup, DAZ obviously has some great ideas for Poser/Daz Studio to Bryce integration, that will all be awesome. Now, everybody wants to see (or hear) about some purly Bryce improvements! (which, will be coming people...patience, lol) AgentSmith

I want to kill everyone who starts spouting off about how much they're gonna love poser/bryce integration.

Supposedly, there already is a Maya/Poser integration of sorts. The same company that does the dreaded plugin for Poser/3dsMax has one for Maya and Lightwave as well. I haven't personally used their product, but from what I understand from those who have, it fully translates a Poser scene on import and keeps all materials including trans maps and animations intact. I'm a 3dsMax user, and find it amazing how many Poser people come to the forum with questions about RENDERING in Max. I don't have a problem with Poser itself, but just wonder why they would feel the need to invest in a $3000+ piece of software simply to render Poser scenes? It's some people's worst fear realized. ;)

For alot of people,Bryce was THE original gateway and introduction into the world of 3D...including myself. So Poser was a natural compliment to it. As long as DAZ can keep alive this tradition by aquiring, upgrading, and maintaining Bryce, the field of computer graphics will continue to be strengthened with newcomers who were inspired by these original apps. Included here, is an image from one of my very first renderings with Bryce....ages ago LOL!
