I have been around for a while doing textures/characters for poser.
But I am a bit in the dark as for which figure I should be doing some stuff next.
I did a lot for v3 and some m3 stuff, but I would like to work on something else for a bit.
Can you tell me for which (if any) figure you'd prefer me to work on next?
Is there a figure for who you'd like to see a bigger market of textures/characters in the style that I do them?
Just trying to keep in the loops concerning what my customers prefer.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
dalinise.

MM Kids is my #1, next would be David ... but he can use Mike3 Textures. Please consider the Kids I 'm always looking for a new texture for the Boys. You do great work, I have Golden Girls and 1/2 century club, and use them often... love them!

I'd love to see one for the kids in a "Just William" style, you know ith a skinned kneee, sticking plaster, dirty face and all that ;o).........Steve

Agreed here. the poor Millkids often look like celluloid skinned, while V3, Mike and David, not to mention Steph, have nice normal skins.

I am just finishing one for the ptgirl. But I will start working on the mil boys. That wont be difficult, I have a boy of 8 years old who every day comes in with dirt and bruzes from playing outside:-)) Not to mention his hands who are always beyond dirty!! Thanks for the feedback! I will let you know a.s.a. I have something. And keep those suggestions coming:-)

David 3 would be good. I know he can use M3 textures but I don't think M3 morphs work on him.....

Mill Boy is my #1 preference. Then David and S3, mainly for your wonderful morphs as they can use M3 and V3 skins. But the Mill Boy is my choice :)

I'd love a grubby PT Boy texture, and then converted up to David for the grubby young man look.
randym77 posted Sat, 26 June 2004 at 9:28 AM
Kristta, David can use M3 textures. Not clothes. I'd love more textures for the MilBoys, too. I love Nicholas, at DAZ. David and S3 are also high on my list. Bonus points for "ethnic" textures. Double bonus points if there are P5 MATs.

Mychelle I will get in touch with you, I would love to work on one of your creations! Thanks kayjay97, I am working on a "Elderlies" kind of pak for david, with an special only morphs pac for those who already have the Elderlies, and a total pak for those who don't. Mil. boys, I just started on that, since they obviously need some attention:-) This very helpfull, thanks you al!

Could we Plleeeeezzzeeee have some textures for M2 that are worth it? That would be loverly, truly. I know that there are some fine ones out there for sale, but being a broke grad student, I'm pretty reliant on the freebies...so M2 textures would be wonderful.

You should do some textures for the neglected Poser characters. Don and Judy. There's just not much stuff out for those two yet, so there's a void that needs filling. Chloe

again with the texture cross use list just for reference Mike1, mike2 , steph 1, Don, Will (note small nipple placement issue between M1 and Steph skins) Vick1, vick2, ptg, psg, ptb, psb, judy, penny Mike3, vick3, steph 3, freak, she freak, david, Aeon figures, etc There are some cross mapped figures, But I'm not listing those for brevity's sake
Tyger_purr posted Sat, 26 June 2004 at 2:42 PM
Vick1, vick2, ptg, psg, ptb, psb, judy, penny They may be mapped the same but it would seem to me that there would be an issue of scale and body hair when using the adult skins on kids or kids skin on adults. do the MAT files for the mil kids work on all the mil kids?

And makeup. Lipstick and plucked eyebrows look very unnatural on a child.
IME, the MAT files work fine across characters. P4/PP/P5 is often a problem, but using a Vicky MAT on a MilKid works fine.

Dalinise, Here is the URL for Natalia. regards, Andrewhauksdottir posted Sat, 26 June 2004 at 6:59 PM
I'll put in a word for Natalia (especially since she also has nifty feet). She's a nice looking lady with some excellent morphs. The P5 family also needs some good textures made just for them. I've been working on characters to go with Deecey's morphs, but the V2/M2 textures often don't quite fit. Thanks! Carolly

Most likely, your V3, S3, and Milgirl textures will outsell the textures created for any other character.
hauksdottir posted Sun, 27 June 2004 at 9:55 PM
...but that is also selling into a crowded market.

i vote for:
dacort's dina. i'm not sure i've seen what she can really do since i haven't seen any photoreal textures for her.
any character with non-pristine skin. i love the thought of a kids texture with dirt, grass-stains, etc. kids are rarely the perfect dainties seen in poserdom, and i for one would hate it if they were. heck, i'd like some dirtied up textures for the unimesh tribe (you'd think with so little skin covered and such cold, highly ventilated, and often well-guarded temples, vicky's skin would get wind-burned, if not bruised and just plain ole dirty)
please, please, please realistic ethnic characters. i think the major holes aren't native american and irish (though i endorse those and think they need doing well), i'd say a photoreal indian (as in from india) and other southern asians would be great (cambodian to go with the temple sets from rdna?). or even mexican/native american (as opposed to the almost european looking latina/o textures out there- these are great, i'm just thinking additional diversity not more of the same).
oh, and i wouldn't mind photoshop layers as non-product specific texture add-ons.

Yup. I jumped on "Nicholas" right away, because there just aren't many MilBoy textures out there. If it was Nicole instead of Nicholas, I probably wouldn't have bought it. I have a lot of MilGirl textures already. It would have to be something very special - or very cheap - to get me to buy another.
More diversity in ethnic textures would be great. Also, more ages. We have young and very old, but nothing middle-aged. Middle-aged doesn't mean ugly. I'd love a texture I could use to do a render of my mom, without her getting insulted. :-)
