Hello all, I'm crazywitko. I got into fractals by downloading some of the many free programs and have bought Ultra Fractal. I started this as a hobby back in April of this year, and it has turned into an obsession...LOL Looking forward to veiwing your works & sharing some of my own. I have a question too..:) I want to add thumbnails to my uploaded pictures, but can't seem to get the kb down to 15 without making it so tiny it would be useless. I have PSP8 and can resize, but like I said, they are over the size limit. Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.

Did you try reducing the jpg's quality? As for me, I use Paint to create my thumbnails. Open 800x600 image, resize to 25%, save as blablablaThumb.jpg. If squeezing into 200x200 or less deforms the image too much, I use part of it (without resizing) and write "detail" on the thumb. (Now that I think of it, it isn't every version of Paint that saves jpgs, is it?)

Welcome to the obsessive bunch! When you save your thumbnails as .jpg try increasing the compression ratio. There should be an option once you chose to save it as a .jpg Hope you enjoy our community here. It is growing and it will get better! :) Barbara

Welcome Doug, "Wind God" is a very nice step in the right direction into our insanity. I hope you enjoy it here and we hope to see more of your work.

Thank You all for the warm welcome and suggestions. I ended up downloading a program that makes thumbnails...and keeps the quality somewhat decent. I tried decreasing the compression in PSP but it really didn't look so good. Never was very good with that program. Anyways, thanks again and look forward to participating in the community. A second fractal has been posted...Trapped butterfly...hope you like.
