(Moved from the Character creator Forum) Does anybody have any simple techniques for creating a four armed Animedoll? My idea was to put 2 identical figures in the same scene, make one a little shorter than the other (with the figure height function), use the heiarchy editor to make everything but shoulders and arms of the shorter one invisible and then set the figure parent of the short one to the chest of the long one. I've played around with this a bit, but I'm not sure how I would manage animating this. Anyone have any better ideas? I don't have the additional software to create custom figures - and to be honest I'm a bit confused about the whole process.

There are instructions for adding limbs to any poser character in the tutorials section of bloodsong's site. :)

thou and I, my friend, can, in the most flunkey world, make, each of us, one non-flunkey, one hero, if we like: that will be two heroes to begin with. (Carlyle)

Doctorkoan i checked the bloodsong tutorial and it is quite hard to follow, your first idea sounds best, you would just have to animate them as if it is two figures when it is actually one and a bit.

Thanks to both of you. You are right. The bloodsong tutorial is kinda in-depth. I also don't have the software needed to slice a poser figure like that. Do you think that the chest is the best place to parent the figure or would the hip be better?

The chest will probably be better especially with animating.
