Subject: Resizing Images....

I'd like opinions on how others resize images smaller. In Photoshop Elelments The choice is Bicubic
Bilinear
Nearset Nieghbour


PSP8 I've found Bicubic and Smart Size to work the best.

I would use bicubic as this produces the highest quality result from those options. Nearest Neighbour gives the worst results.

Hi there,
bicubic for photography - sharpening manually afterwards (don't use a bicubic sharp in PS 8 CS). The program computes the best result for details.
nearest neighbour or similar is just calculating which pixel is at the average location after resizing (pure maths without computing contrast and colours)

I use bicubic in PSCS then sharpen with focalblade

Bicubic. But there are better alternatives. Donald posted a thread a while ago. There are also 3rd party filters that use higher order interpolation filters.
