Yes, by stretching the geometry with morphs, you've also "stretched" the texture attached to it. There's very little you can do to retain the texture detail in that region, short of remapping the mesh with a UV-mapping utility.

Sorry. This is why you don't see a lot of long-sleeve morphs for short-sleeved clothing.

Ah, no worries, I figured out another way using a different "shirt sleeve" that I think will work better, at least texture-wise. Thanks!
