Hello all and for those of you in the States Happy 4th of July. What I have done here is create a simple temple at the base of an obelisk I intend using as part of another picture I am working on. If you notice on the sides of this structure I have used 4 negative tapered cube presets to create windows. Also inside the temple I have placed a radial light {sphere} to create a light source. My problem is two fold 1, I would like to have light waves coming out of the window as this will be a night time piece and I would like these light waves to illuminate some other objects on either side of this structure. 2. I would also like the columns on the front entrance to cast long shadows. Could someone please help me solve this problem or point me to a tutorial that may help me learn how to create shadows and light waves? Thanks Much Steel Eyes
