Ok...so I add another dynamic group by clicking the New Dynamic Group button.
Is this group used in my simulation in addition to my default group?

Yep :)
It will allow you to produce the effect of one garment made up of different materials. e.g. a leather skirt with a silk shirt.

LOL Man I feel like a complete numbnut. I didnt think this was possible! Thanks so much Phil. Glad you responded. LOL While I have you would you have a suggestion on how to simulate elastic?? Youll make my day if you do!!

Try adjusting the cloth density and stretch resistance, but if you want it to spring back I think you'll have to render the animation to single images and recompile them in reverse. I've not done it but that's how I'd start.

LOL Thanks Phil. I dont necessarily need it to spring. Just draw tight against the figure.
Ill give those a shot. Thanks again.

First make the figure thinner or smaller and then blow the figure up to normal proportions. This way the cloth will stretch over the figure. (see link, sorry german only)CDI posted Mon, 05 July 2004 at 10:49 AM
LOL yes Im aware of this technique but this effects the whole cloth. I only want arm and neck trim to be tight.

In which case try assigning those areas to the constrained group. Also if you use the grouping option in a magnet zone you will be able to just scale those areas too. Between those two options you'll probably get the degree of control you are looking for.
