I see that in the RMP there are a couple of characters for sale that use the Mil PreTeen mesh, but morphed into the shape of an adult. What do you use to clothe these figures? Presumably PreTeen clothes won't fit because they're the wrong shape, and Vicky clothes won't conform because it's a different figure.

I use the PT Girl as an adult figure more than Vicky. For clothes I use the Taylor to fit PreTeen clothes with the new morphes. Along with some simple scaling,I get a perfect fit 99% of the time. SWAMP

You pretty much have to use milkid clothing that has had either morphs added to it or is shaped by magnets and then retextured. It is an ongoing issue in that these characters are often just really killer, but lack the support to make them fully usable. :( And there are some that are just phenomenal. Blackhearted's Nia comes with a couple of pieces of clothing, and she's pretty darned awesome, but that's it. Since I can't really use a figure that doesn't have clothing (magnets and I have absolutely no common ground -- I know how they work and can make them do what I want, but I haven't the patience to set up a gazillion of them to make things look the way I want), I have to pass on most of them. Not that I want to plug, but unless it's Blackhearted or Thorne doing the figures, I have pretty much no luck making clothes fit -- even with Tailor (which is a godsend)

TenTenJ is supposed to be an adult Japanese woman. There is a reasonable selection of clothes for her - the Poser Penthouse costume festival is still running, but I don't know for how much longer.

It is often a tricky choice on whether to use Vicky or PT clothes ... it can work either way. Shrink one or enlarge the other. Stuff that fits tight, however, doesn't.

Uhm.... Paint the clothes or use bodygloves or a combination of bodygloves and painting. That's what I do, anyway. I absolutely love Kaila (Handspan Studios, available at DAZ), but the poor girl has virtually no clothes! She's got a skirt and a little boob-tube top and that's about it. I tried making some existing PT clothes fit her and unfortunately I failed when it came to resetting the joint parameters (rather confusing, I found). So my lovely Kaila ends up being a fairy or only partly dressed and doesn't get nearly as much "render time" as she would if I could clothe her properly. It IS a problem. And it's part of why I'm learning to paint clothes!!! ;-) bonni

What do you mean by bodygloves, elizabyte? From your post I realise I may not understand the term.

Heh heh. It looks like modelled clothing, doesn't it? It isn't. It's a subdividing material. (Except for the boots, of course).
