Wow. I think this is the first render I've ever added to my favorite images. And I'm not fond of cats. Wow.

Holy Moly Neftis!! That is truly outstanding! The ears turned out great...I mean really great. How the heck did you do that? And that fur....my god...how the heck did you do that?!!! And the setting....a purrfect setting to highlight the cat, right down to the reflections! Wonderful...just wonderful :) I am a cat lover too (think you already knew that!), but I sure wish I had your talents with P5. Wow!

Holy Moly is right...I'd swear that was a photograph...excellent render!! I can't even imagine what light settings you used to get those reflections...

I used the infinite light of the top poser sphere to create the backlight effects that will go with the setting of the inner ears. I simply boosted the intensity to find just the right effect I wanted on the fur texture.

Then I finaly simply finished it with some post work on the fur and added some blur effect here and there to make it look more realistic. And that's about it...I used a box for the stand then applied a dyn cloth over it and put back my nice lil kitty on top of it.

This is remarkable! After seeing it, I may yet get P5. I've been sticking to P4/PP because P5 seemed to have a lot of hassles to deal with. Now I'm beginning to wonder whether I should innvest in it. Anyway, I knew someone who raised and bred Siamese cats, and fell in love with them(the cats, that is). I am a cat lover and Siamese are my favorites. I like the chocolate point color the most.

Nef, that image is the BEST image that CL could use for P5! They have some kind of submissionm thing going on over there for images... you should send the final, and then the wireframe version you posted, to prove it's not a real image. I had to look at it a few time, JUST to make sure it wasn;t a real pic! BTW when are ya going on Vacation, and when will you be back?
